The Final meeting and Conference REVET was held at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) during the days 8th-10th of October 2019.
The first day of the meeting the results obtained within the different work packages were presented, as well as a balance of all the activities carried out throughout the lifetime of the project implementation. Also, the Final Reporting to EACEA, both at financial and technical level, was deeply discussed among all the Partners of the Consortium. European Partners also presented the Country Reports as a result of the WP1-in depth analysis of the State of Art.
The second and third day the format of the meeting turned into a Veterinary Conference.
In fact, several lectures presented interesting topics about the Veterinary studies in Europe. Among them it is worth to mention the participation of Prof. Ana Bravo Moral (University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain) ex-president of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) who talked about Veterinary Training formats in European Universities, as well as of the accreditation system of the EAEVE.
Also other important topics such as the Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, the E-portfolio and the Bologna Process were debated.
Finally, several examples of new methods for teaching-learning process and research based teaching examples were presented.
